The Promise of Life Eternal

Little sparrow, you’ve come to play on my window sill. Despite the cold, dead look of winter, life goes on. Perky sparrow, your chirps and darting flight remind me of this. Life hides under the snow, deep in the frozen earth. Life goes on, even when my loved ones have died and left me. Life will go on, even when I am gone.

Life may take a different form, but life goes on. It’s a promise you can rely on.

I have written this to you to make you realize that you possess eternal life–you who believe in the name of the Son of God.    1 John 5:13
