The Color White
Ordinary Time
A blanket of snow covers the earth. I am warm and snug in my home, looking out at the white expanse. Eventually I will have to move. Eventually I will have to get up, get going, shovel the walks and the driveway, but for now I am content.
White, such an ordinary color. Yet it holds within it all of the colors of the rainbow, blended together, just waiting to shine forth.
Another new day is waiting to begin, with all of its wonder and routine. Under the snow, hidden, lies life, new wonders waiting to burst forth, waiting to be set free for those who have eyes to see.
I am content gazing upon God and God’s beauty.
His clothing was snow bright, and the hair on his head as white as wool. Daniel 7:9b
