What is an Ordinary Family?
Ordinary Time
Families come in many shapes and sizes. There is no such thing as one size fits all, though American society in the past would lead us to believe this. Then the white nuclear family was seen as the norm by which each family was judged. Any divergence from this was considered a deviation.
I’m glad we have moved beyond this. I love the variety that makes up the American family.
I especially love my own version of the American family, my family.
