Moving Day

Season of Change

At last! The boxes are empty, their contents organized on closet shelves. After hours and days of labor, we are finally “moved in.” We love our new house in our new neighborhood, but we’ve yet to make it home. Where do we go for good pizza? Where will we find the best values on groceries and clothes? What are we to do for entertainment? Most important, who will our new friends be? How will we find them?

I wonder how Abram, as an old man, was able to make the journey to a new land and a new God.

So many unanswered questions.

Unpacking boxes is the easy part.

My father was a wandering Aramean who went down to Egypt with a small household and lived there as an alien.    Deuteronomy 26:5
