Unfinished Business
Lent – Season of Change
Some people barely finish one venture before jumping into another. They go from one job to another without a break, from one relationship to another, without stepping back to reflect, appreciate, and assimilate what they’ve learned, to grieve what they’ve lost. They never learn from the past, but constantly forge ahead.
Am I like them, Lord? Am I deluding myself that I am adjusting nicely to change? Am I really making new beginnings each time I move on?
Or am I just spinning wheels, stuck in unfinished business?
Woe to the complacent in Zion, to the overconfident on the mount of Samaria. Amos 6:1
