Out of the Frying Pan . . .
Lent – Season of Change
Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Just when it seemed that things couldn’t get worse, just when it seemed life was about to take a turn for the better, just when I thought, This is the darkness before the dawn . . .
I find myself charred amidst flames.
Crisis is no longer something to get through.
It has become a way of life.
All those who were my friends are on the watch for any misstep of mine. “Perhaps he will be trapped; then we can prevail, and take our vengeance on him.” But the Lord is with me, like a mighty champion: my persecutors will stumble, they will not triumph. Jeremiah 20:10-11
