Fertile Ground – Waiting for the Plow

 March 30, 2017

Lent – Season of Change

Fertile ground, lying fallow through the winter, waiting to be torn apart, ripped open by the plow. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting for the seed of new life. Ready . . . and waiting.

So I wait for you, my God.

I await your transforming presence.

Let us know, let us strive to know the Lord; as certain as the dawn is his coming, and his judgment shines forth like the light of day! He will come to us like the rain, like spring rain that waters the earth.      Hosea 6:3
