Blinded by Light!
Easter – Season of New Life
I’ve been told that it’s always darkest before dawn. I’ve been in the dark so long that I don’t know what dawn looks like.
And yet, when I least expect it, Jesus calls me. He leads me. Down paths strewn with lilies, surrounded by the sound of alleluias, he breaks through my darkness. Jesus was never far from me. It was I who couldn’t see.
I realize I wasn’t really in the dark after all. I was just blinded by the light.
With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him; whereupon he vanished from their sight. Luke 24:31
