Ordinary Time – Season of Stability
To bless is to sanctify, make holy, make happy. Celtic spirituality is full of blessings. A blessing for every day and every occasion. Children are blessed as they leave their homes for school. Homes are blessed, the daily fire is blessed, as well as meals.
We here in America have been greatly blessed. We have an abundance of resources, a beautiful country, and freedom to enjoy these.
God provides showers of blessings and then we are to bless others in return. Just as April showers bring the flowers of spring, God’s blessing produce blessings.
May you be blessed and be a blessing this spring!
I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. Genesis 12:2.
