Not so Ordinary Questions

Ordinary Time – Season of Stability

Another day at the grindstone. A boring job, a boring routine. I can’t help but wonder …

Does my life have meaning?

Will I be remembered when I’m gone . . . and for what?

Will the fact that I once walked the face of the earth make a difference?

Will the world be a better place for my having lived here?

Routine day. Routine job. Not so routine questions.

Thank God for the routine that gives us time and space to ask important questions.

When the Queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame, she came to Jerusalem to test him with subtle questions.   2 Ch 9:1a
