Reminders of What Was, Is and Will Be
Ordinary Time – Season of Stability
Each day I wake up to see the same faces, imperceptibly changing, getting older, especially the one I see in the mirror. Photographs of me when I was younger remind me that the me I now see didn’t always look this way. They remind me of times when my children were still at home. They remind me of when I was a child. So long ago.
Each day we draw a little closer to death. All the more reason to live each day to the fullest, remembering the past, rejoicing in the present and believing in the future.
Remember the wondrous deeds that He has wrought, his portents, and the judgments he has uttered. 1 Chr. 16:12
