Thank You for Darkness
Season of Gratitude
Some people fear the dark. Not me. In darkness, while tossing and turning, I solve all the problems of the world. In the dark I see clearly exactly what to do to right the wrongs in my life. Everything seems so clear. Everything seems so simple. Everything falls into place–until I confront reality in the hard light of day.
In daylight, everything falls apart again. Nothing is simple. Everything is complicated. Once again I wander in darkness.
Don’t confuse me with the facts!
Thank you, Lord, for the darkness!
You, Lord, give light to my lamp; my God brightens the darkness about me. Psalm 18:29
