Thank You for the Gift of Acceptance
Season of Gratitude
I search in vain for someone to blame. My best intentions have gone astray, left on the wayside to be stepped on by other people’s boots–and my boots, too.
If I can’t blame another, maybe I can blame circumstances . . . or God?
Though I search for someone–or something–to blame, all are blameless. Why do I find this so difficult to accept?
Thank you, Lord, for the ways you help me learn to accept my limitations, my failures, my past.
I give thanks to my God always on your account . . . that in him you were enriched in every way with all discourse and all knowledge. 1 Corinthians 1:4-5
