Fishing on the Great Lakes
Summer in Michigan often means vacation or weekend getaways to one of the abundant lakes in this great state. Marriage often means doing activities that you don’t love, but that your partner does.
Fishing on the Great Lakes
Every day for two weeks, they get up early in the morning and head out on their boat. They stand for hours at a time as they cast out and pull in lines, bait their hooks and remove fish. After eight hours, they return to the cottage. He cleans and filets the catch of the day. She cooks. The next day the same routine is played out.
No quiet reading or doing the tatting she loves. This is how they spend their vacation.
He loves fishing. She loves him.
