Prima Ballerina – New Book for a New Year – Discount about to Run Out
My grandfather Gus used to say, “A new baby every Christmas.” My version is a new book every New Year. Last year I published two new novels, Rebound and Amazing. This year my new book is Prima Ballerina, book twelve in my Dancing through Life series. It is available for pre-sale at a discounted price of $2.99 but that discount will end on January 1 when it is published.
What better way to celebrate New Year’s Day than kicking back with a hot latte or mocha, or a glass of wine, reading a new book while strains of “New Year’s Eve from Vienna” play in the background. I don’t know about you, but for me it doesn’t get much better than that. (Listening to Strauss waltzes and “New Year’s Eve from Vienna” is one of my traditions.)
Prima Ballerina
Why not check out Prima Ballerina? If you live in a northern climate, you can escape to a Michigan summer. If you are experiencing summer, you can escape to the mid-Western town of Cascade Falls as a member of the Reese family celebrates another milestone—the wedding of basketball star Jacob Reese to a home-town girl.
After fifteen years, Ashley Reese, prima ballerina, returns to her hometown of Cascade Falls and reunites with friends and family and the faith she had left behind. There’s also a motherless girl to tug on Ashley’s heart strings and remind her of the little girl she once was.
While most of the story takes place over two weeks in June, there is a December visit to Rockefeller Plaza and a production of The Nutcracker Ballet. What book about a ballerina would be complete without some mention of The Nutcracker? The themes of coming home and change of heart in the book are ever present in Christmas stories. It will be a great way to round out the Christmas holidays, relaxing once the hub-bub is over.
So put a movie on for the kids, kick off your shoes and relax with this family friendly story of love, family and faith.
Available in eformat for pre-sale for $2.99. Get your copy now before the price goes up. Paperback copies will also be available in the new year.
Get one for you and one for a friend – books make great presents!
