Epiphany – Remembering Three Dreamers!
Christmas – Season of Promise
Three dreamers, chasing a star . . . Three dreamers come from afar . . .
How I admire their ability to hold on to what they believe is true. How I admire those who risk everything because of a hunch, because of a promise from only-God-knows-whom.
They kept their faith and received their reward; they found a simple baby in a stable, not a warrior-king with crown and sword. Though others may have laughed, what they found was enough for them; they had eyes to see.
Dear God, make of my life an epiphany!
Then you shall be radiant at what you see, your heart shall be emptied out before you, the wealth of nations shall be brought to you. Isaiah 60:5
This post is part of a series of reflections on the Church year. Epiphany, also known as Little Christmas, is the day that the three kings, bearing gifts, came to the stable to see Jesus. Epiphany also refers to those “aha” moments when the light turns on and you gain new insights. click here to follow blog
