Preparing for Lent!

Preparing for Lent!
Now that the celebration of New Year is over along with your resolutions, Lent is approaching, giving you time for a spiritual reboot. How are those resolutions going? Are they long gone, or going strong? Lent is a great time to reflect on our lives and try to get back to what is most important – our relationship with our God.
The season of Lent challenges us to consciously enter into a process of changing, to let go of selfish attitudes in order to grow closer to God! My booklet, Season of Change, helps with this process. Blending real-life vignettes with biblical quotations, the booklet provides brief reflections that focus on change and transition–the steppingstones to personal spiritual growth. These meditations can help you fully immerse yourself in the Lenten spirit. Available for free through most digital stores. Check it out today.
Looking for a Bible Study for Lent? My book, The Psalms in Light of the Lord’s Prayer, fits nicely into the seven weeks of Lent. Each week you reflect on a different category of Psalms using the Lord’s Prayer as a guide. Begin with “Our Father who art in heaven” for the first week of Lent, starting with Ash Wednesday; then “Hallowed be thy name” for the second week, and on to Holy Week and Easter. Grow closer to God this Lent through exploring the Psalms.
